Nail salon chouchou | ネイルサロン シュシュ

大阪のネイルサロン「chouchou」の店舗デザイン・インテリアデザインを担当した。
ネイルサロン chouchou は、訪れる人が自然と心をほどき、リラックスできる空間を目指して計画した。
空間全体を包み込むような柔らかなピンクトーンで統一し、壁面には質感のある特殊塗装を採用。単なる色面ではなく、光の当たり方によって繊細に表情を変える仕上げとすることで、空間に奥行きと温かみを与えている。柔らかな色彩と素材感が重なり合い、ネイルサロンという美容体験にふさわしい、穏やかで包容力のある空間を形成している。
店内の壁面にはアーチ形状のニッチを連続させ、ネイルカラーをディスプレイする構成とした。繰り返されるアーチのリズムが空間に象徴的な表情を与え、プロダクトそのものをインテリアの一部として見せるショーケースのような役割を担っている。
天井はあえてスケルトンとし、構造体や設備をそのまま表出させることで、柔らかな色彩で構成された空間に軽やかな抜けと適度な緊張感を与えた。繊細なピンクの空間と無機質な構造体との対比が、インテリアに独自のバランスを生み出している。
床にはテラゾータイルを採用。細かな骨材が織りなす表情が空間全体を引き締め、やわらかな色彩の中に素材の重厚感と上質さを加えている。
奥に設けたフットケアスペースは、間接照明と木目調の素材によって、よりパーソナルで落ち着いた空間として構成した。メインスペースとは異なる静かな雰囲気をつくることで、施術の時間をより深くリラックスできる体験へと導いている。
女性らしい柔らかさと、建築的な構成による明確な個性。その両立を目指したネイルサロンの空間デザインである。

Nail salon chouchou was designed as a place where visitors can naturally unwind and feel at ease.

The interior is unified by a soft pink palette that gently envelops the entire space. Textured special finishes are applied to the walls, allowing the surfaces to subtly change in appearance as the light shifts throughout the day. Rather than functioning as simple planes of color, these finishes create depth and warmth, while the layered combination of soft tones and tactile materials forms a calm and embracing environment suited to the experience of a nail salon.

A series of arched niches runs along the walls, providing display spaces for nail colors. The repetition of the arches introduces a distinctive rhythm and gives the interior a symbolic character, while allowing the products themselves to become part of the spatial composition, much like objects displayed within a showcase.

The ceiling is intentionally left exposed, revealing the structure and building services. This creates a sense of openness and introduces a subtle tension within the otherwise soft, pastel-toned interior. The contrast between the delicate pink surfaces and the raw, utilitarian ceiling produces a unique balance between softness and architectural clarity.

Terrazzo tiles are used for the flooring. Their fine aggregate texture visually anchors the space, adding a sense of material richness and refinement to the gentle color palette.

The foot-care area at the rear is designed as a more intimate and tranquil zone, using indirect lighting and wood-toned materials. By creating an atmosphere distinct from the main salon area, the space allows guests to settle into a deeper sense of relaxation during treatment.

The design seeks to balance feminine softness with a clear architectural identity, creating a nail salon that is both welcoming and distinctive.
