大阪・御幣島の24時間フィットネスジム「BEST FIT ME 御幣島店」の店舗デザイン・店舗設計を担当した。
広がりのある店内を横断する斜めのライン照明を、空間を象徴するデザイン要素として取り入れた。
トレーニングによって身体と意識が高まり、心身ともに上昇していくという行為を「斜めに伸びるライン」として空間に置き換え、床・壁・天井へと連続する視覚的な動きをつくり出した。
素材は無機質な質感を中心に構成し、色彩もモノトーンに抑えることで、ラインそのものの存在感を際立たせた。光の方向性と素材のコントラストによって、シンプルでありながらエネルギーを感じられる空間を目指した。
単にトレーニングを行うための場所ではなく、身体を動かすことで気持ちまで前向きに切り替わっていく、その感覚をインテリアとして表現したフィットネス空間である。 TODAYS Inc.
We were responsible for the interior and spatial design of BEST FIT ME Mitejima, a 24-hour fitness and personal training gym in Osaka.
A series of diagonal linear lights running through the open interior became the defining element of the design.
The diagonal lines were inspired by the idea of physical and mental progression through training — the sense of moving upward and becoming stronger. This concept was translated into a continuous visual movement extending across the floor, walls, and ceiling.
The interior is composed primarily of industrial materials and a restrained monochrome palette, allowing the diagonal lines and lighting to become the strongest visual feature. The contrast between light, material, and direction creates a space that feels minimal yet energetic.
Rather than designing only a functional place for exercise, the aim was to express the positive sense of progression that comes from training, translating that feeling directly into the interior environment.
