麵と無限の可能性 本町総本店

大阪・本町のラーメン店「麵と無限の可能性 本町総本店」の店舗デザイン・店舗設計を担当した。
わずか7席という限られた空間の中で、木の温もりと光が生み出す陰影を丁寧に重ね、静かで密度のある空間を目指した。
計画の軸としたのは、素材そのものの存在感と、必要以上に要素を加えない“余白”である。木の表情や壁面の質感、照明による明暗の差を抑制的に構成することで、コンパクトな店内に奥行きと広がりを与えた。
客席と厨房の距離が近い小さな空間だからこそ、調理の気配や音、香りまでもが空間の一部として感じられるよう意識した。
一杯のラーメンを味わう時間が、単なる食事ではなく、静かに記憶に残る体験となることを目指した。

We were responsible for the interior and spatial design of Men to Mugen no Kanosei Honmachi Sohonten, a ramen restaurant located in Honmachi, Osaka.
Within the compact space of only seven seats, the design carefully layers the warmth of natural wood with subtle contrasts of light and shadow, creating an intimate yet composed atmosphere.
The concept was centered on the quiet presence of materials and the deliberate use of negative space. By carefully balancing the texture of wood, the finish of the walls, and the contrast created by lighting, the interior achieves a sense of depth and openness despite its limited scale.
Because of the close relationship between the seating area and the kitchen, the sounds, aromas, and movements of the cooking process naturally become part of the spatial experience.
The aim was to create a place where enjoying a single bowl of ramen becomes more than simply a meal — a quiet and memorable experience shaped by space, material, and light.
